Scope Of Work

In Bulgaria, there are 28,136 stroke survivors with varying degrees of disability, of which 10% are severe and require additional care and assistance from family, relatives and society. Of the stroke survivors, 25-50% have speech disorders/aphasia/, and in half of them these disabling disorders remain permanent. Stroke is the second most common cause of dementia, the most common cause of epilepsy in old age, and a very common cause of depression.

The Association for Stroke and Aphasia (ASA) is a Bulgarian non-governmental organization and a member of the Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE). Its main goals are to:

  • Spread awareness of stroke and aphasia cases
  • Promote healthier lifestyle habits and methods to prevent stroke
  • Help stroke survivors and their close ones and relatives

2023 Awareness Campaign

The 2023 nationwide awareness campaign focused on the risk factors and promoted choices that help reduce the probability of suffering from a stroke. We were tasked with creating a chatbot flow and designs that support the overall campaign and engage people through a Viber chatbot.
